The Chief: Over a period of four decades, Delmar Janovec has worked in multiple business sectors including hospitality & restaurants, technology and real estate including the development of land and single family homes, high-rise apartments and liquidations. During his various tenures, he has held positions in both private and public companies as President, CEO, Director and Manager.
Janovec did his undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, majoring in Wildlife Management, and has served as a Director on numerous non-profit organizations working for the betterment of Native Americans. Janovec has been the President of CannaGrow Holdings, Inc. since its inception in May of 2006.

The Grow Guru: In his role as COO, John P. Janovec, Ph.D., oversees all day-to-day operational aspects of CannaGrow projects, including the design, permitting, development and construction of new facilities. In relation to cultivation operations, Dr. Janovec directs all aspects of plant propagation, including seed, clone, soil, light and water management. Trained in agronomy and botany, Dr. Janovec received his doctorate from Texas A&M University. For the past two decades, he has carried out botanical research in Latin America, focusing on issues such as ecosystem conservation in the Andes-Amazon region of Peru. He’s produced 40 articles and four books, presented 125 lectures and 47 conference abstracts, and served as mentor to nearly 50 students. (A new book published recently presents a detailed description of wetland ecosystems of the Peruvian Amazon, an analysis of their threats and recommendations for their conservation). He is also one of the inventors of the Atrium Biodiversity Information System. Since returning to the US in 2015 from Peru, Dr. Janovec has assumed the position of COO of CannaGrow Holdings, Inc., where he has the opportunity to integrate his exceptional academic and fieldwork experience with his decades-long advocacy for and propagation of legal Cannabis.
Our Swiss Army Knife: Horticultural expert Jason Wells is accomplished in the propagation, cultivation and production of multiple classes of plants including Cannabis, North American nursery varieties and even rare species from the Peruvian Amazon where he collaborated with Dr. Janovec in field studies. Experienced in the construction, development and management of nurseries and cultivation operations ranging from ecologically sensitive rainforest projects to state-of-the art US production facilities, Wells also brings expertise to mission critical tasks such as integrated pest management and bio control. His two decades in the industry have also allowed him to become seasoned at managing personnel and designing project and production flow. Wells holds a B.S. in Agriculture from Kansas State University.
Our Numbers Ninja: Brent Edward Crouch, CPA, ChFC, has worked as a Certified Public Accountant, specializing in the areas of corporate tax, consulting, and audit for over 25 years. His experience includes five years with a Big Five international accounting firm, a brief stint with a national food chain in their corporate tax department, and 15 years as a partner in an accounting firm that specialized in SEC audits. Specifically, he is proficient in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, internal controls and budgeting, tax planning and preparation, and audit and compliance with governmental agencies.
Mr. Crouch graduated from Brigham Young University in 1984 with a Masters of Accountancy, with an emphasis in Taxation. He received his Certified Public Accountant certificate about a year later. While working for Deloitte and Touche, he headed up their Financial Planning department, and earned his Chartered Financial Consultant Degree. Mr. Crouch joined CannaGrow Holdings in 2006 as the CFO.
